Our journey
Welcome! We are James and Becci, the founders of Tribal Living.First and foremost, thank you for visiting!
Our brand was born in January 2021 from a very simple, yet frustrating, truth: it was nearly impossible to find a premium-quality candle without paying an extortionate, unjustifiable price tag. We firmly believed that people deserved better than over-priced, average products where the price tag goes towards a fancy label as opposed to a truly quality product.
What started as an experiment in our Surrey kitchen quickly turned into a passion. We’ve since relocated to Buckinghamshire, but despite the rapid and humbling growth we've seen, our process remains the same: we personally hand-craft and pour every single candle in our home kitchen.
Each candle we create has a story—it might be inspired by a cherished memory, a place we’ve traveled, or an inspiring person. We work hard to offer a diverse range of fantastic, honest fragrances to suit every taste, and we’re proud that our customers often tell us our quality rivals high-end brands, but at a fraction of the price.

Our journey has since progressed further – since 2024 we now offer room diffusers in all of our fragrance options. As with our candles, all of our diffusers are hand poured and crafted in our home kitchen.
